CAHU Board Meeting- October 22nd 10am to 2pm

Don Jones announces the next CAHU Board Meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd in the Pacific Room A at the LAX Hilton from 10am to 2pm.

Reimbursement Information for this meeting:

Attendees of the Board Meeting will need to book their travel by October 1.

Mode of travel: CAHU will reimburse the cost of the lowest fare at the 21-day advance rate for direct flights. If you wish to add excursion flights to your trip, you will be billed for the difference. Exceptions will be made when notice of the meeting is made less than 21 days in advance.

Members who opt to drive will be compensated at the rate allowed by the IRS for mileage (currently at .585/mile) Mileage will be based upon a direct route to and from the site. Reimbursement will be limited to the allowable rate for miles or the cost of a direct flight whichever is less.

CAHU Legislative Council Monthly Teleconference Call

Bill Robinson, VP of Legislation would like to announce the 2008-2009 CAHU Legislative Council Teleconference calls will take place on the 2nd Monday of each month at 3pm.

Email reminders will be sent a week in advance with the Dial in and Access Code information for these calls.

CAHU Board of Directors Meeting - July 2nd in San Diego

CAHU will be hold its first 2008-2009 Board Meeting on:

Location: Marina 6 Room at the San Diego Sheraton, 1380 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, CA

CAHU 2008-2009 Full Board (CAHU Executive Board, Chapter Presidents and Presidents-Elect or two designated representatives per Chapter) are invited to attend.

This meeting's focus will be the presentation of the 2008-2009 Budget and Strategic Plan. Reports from each CAHU Executive Vice President and Chapters Reports are not being requested for this meeting.
